About Us
Statement of Faith
One True God
There is One True God and we have no other gods before Him. We do not misuse the Name of the One True God. The One True God is eternally existent and has revealed Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
God the Father
God the Father, is the creator of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. God the Father is Almighty, All knowing, Eternal, and Ever present.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is fully and completely man in nature. Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, our teacher, example, Redeemer, and the Savior of the world. Jesus was proven to be God to us by his Words, miracles, wonders and signs, and His fulfillment of messianic prophecies. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. For our sakes he suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. On the third day, he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. He shall come again, to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom shall have no end.
The Holy Ghost
God the Holy Spirit is worshipped and glorified with God the Father and God the Son, and is spoken of through the prophets. He is our Advocate to help us, strengthen us, comfort us, and to be with us forever. He is the Spirit of Truth, to teach us all things, and remind us of everything Christ has said to us.
The Holy Scriptures
The Holy Scriptures are contained in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. The Old and New Testament are in agreement, and offer one message of faith, salvation and righteousness to mankind through God’s grace. The Scriptures were given by revelation of God, as the authors of the books were Divinely inspired to write them. The names of the canonical books are: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, First and Second Samuel, First and Second Kings, First and Second Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Ester, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, I, II Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, I, II Thessalonians, I, II Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, I, II Peter, I, II, III John, Revelation. Nothing is to be added or taken away from the Scriptures.
Man’s Death Through Sin
Willingly doing what we know is against God’s will and commandments is sin. Sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Man’s redemption Through Christ
At just the right time, when we were still powerless against sin, Christ died for the ungodly. We are justified by faith in him through His blood, reconciled to God through Him, forgiven of our sins, and saved from God’s wrath through Him. Through faith in Him we receive His promise of eternal life.
The Church
The Scriptures reveal to us that God has called not just individuals, but local communities of faith to serve Him. All believers are a part of God’s universal church, the bride of Christ. It is a glorious testimony of our faith to be committed to, and in covenant with a local church; where we may build up and encourage one another, work together in ministry, and rejoice in God’s goodness together.
The Sacraments
Water Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change. Infants and children below the age of accountability may be dedicated to the Lord, and parents may request to have their child baptized on the child’s behalf, when the parents commit to raise their children in the Christian faith. Persons may re-affirm their faith for themselves and re-affirm water baptism as a sign of their covenant of faith, as young people and adults.
Holy Communion is an act of obedience to the Lord’s command, and an affirmation of our faith in Christ. It is a proclamation of the Lord’s redeeming work, and an anticipation of the Return of Christ.
Sanctification
We are commanded not only to repent and believe unto salvation, but to grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As evidence of our faith in Christ, we are to make every effort to continually add to our faith goodness, and to goodness knowledge, and to knowledge self-control and to self-control perseverance and to perseverance godliness and to godliness mutual affection and to mutual affecting love.
The Ministry of Evangelism and Reconciliation
Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. Jesus has commissioned us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and to teach them to obey everything He has commanded us.
